Terms of Use — The Laugh Appraiser

1. Entertainment only

This is a party game for fun. The "wealth" score, titles, and verdicts are jokes generated from sound characteristics and are meaningless — they do not reflect anyone's actual wealth, income, character, or worth.

2. Acceptable use

You agree not to upload or share content that is explicit, sexual, illegal, hateful, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise harmful, and not to upload images of any identifiable person without their consent. You are solely responsible for any content you provide.

3. User-provided content

Custom phrases and images are provided by game hosts, not by Abhinav Soni. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Abhinav Soni is not liable for, and does not endorse, any user-provided content, and may remove it at any time.

4. Privacy

Your laugh is analysed in your browser to compute a score; the raw audio is not uploaded for scoring.
A laugh clip you choose to share is held temporarily in server memory for that game only, shown to players in your room, and deleted when the game ends or the server restarts. It is not stored in a database or shared with third parties.
Custom scorecard images set by a host are held in memory for that game, shown only to players in the room, and deleted when the game ends.
No accounts are required; we don't intentionally collect personal data beyond a display name you choose. Don't enter sensitive information as your name.

5. No warranty; limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Abhinav Soni is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
